As well as carefully selecting only the finest quality herbs, they have developed their own unique method of boosting the efficiency of the herbs. This 'boost' is given by fermenting the herbs with probiotic (live) Kombucha.

Kombucha is widely known in its own right for promoting well being and helping with many kinds of health problems - giving you benefits above and beyond what is usually available.

However, the Kombucha used in these concentrates is special. After much success with Kombucha as a stand-alone treatment, certain herbs were added to enhance the Kombucha fermentation process. The hard work paid off when the Public Analyst confirmed that a major detoxifying element, Glucuronic acid ( which is sought by every Kombucha producer) had been produced from the process. The search for this component had been the subject of a study by The Kombucha Research Group in America and they hadn’t found a single one of the nineteen growers (both home and commercial, bottled and capsulated) tested to have produced this.

Further work was done to test the efficacy of the brews during storage. Proof, if were needed, came from the UK Trading Standards Office who passed the products after an ‘on the shelf’ test. This meant that the products stayed live and palatable without the use of stabilisers, preservatives or heat treatment / pasteurisation, unlike many other commercially produced Kombuchas. In addition, research showed that his recommended therapeutic dose was half that normally suggested by others. So you can feel confident that these products come from the only UK  producer to have achieved this.

Our Bio-Active concentrate range is based on live kombucha extract which holistically supports the body and provides high bio-availability of the herb extracts. Other companies are producing Kombucha products but then heat treating/pasteurising them which destroys it’s health giving qualities. Our products do not use any additives, preservatives, flavourings or colourings of any kind in any of the products. What we do use, however, is only the finest herbs and most natural ingredients, backed up by 10 years of research and on going trials of all our products.
